The People of Kenya

Kenya – a nation of many colors

There are 42 indigenous African tribes from three major ethnolinguistic families, plus significant Asian, Arab and European communities that make Kenya a nation of great diversity. Probably the best known of these communities are the Maasai, who share their Nilotic origin with the Turkana people.
