2nd Turkana Festival on 28th-30th of August, 2015

The Turkana County Government is proud and happy to officially announce the date of this year’s edition of Turkana County Tourism and Cultural (TUCTAC) Festival.

The 2nd Turkana County Tourism and Cultural (TUCTAC) Festival 2015 will be held on 28th-30th of August 2015 at Ekalees Center in Lodwar, Turkana County’s capital.

The very first festival held in 2014 already impressed thousands of visitors from Turkana, neighboring countries and Nairobi with a rich cultural program and a professional organization. The patrons, Turkana County Government’s Department of Tourism Development and the Department of Culture and Social Services are already in high gear to ensure an even bigger success in 2015.

This year’s program

‘Celebrating the Turkana (Ateker) cultural diversity for peace and development’ is this year’s motto. The rich festival program is continuously expanded.
